Say It, “To Rise Is Ultimately My Purpose Hereafter!”

Athletes have coaches, so do pageant contestants and even businessmen and women. There are even “life” coaches. So, why not those with Learning Disabilities and others with societal labels that keep many trapped from living the successful lives that we are all entitled to? Coaching helps you to overcome stumbling blocks, hurdle over obstacles and set goals that will lead to you fulfilling your dream(s). We all need encouragement and guidance and it’s even better when you can get that guidance from someone who has been where you are and managed to lead a very successful life, despite the labels.
As someone who has been defying the odds all her life, I am equipped at coaching you or your student become all that he has been purposed to be. That’s right! Coaching is useful for adults as well as students.

Relationships are Key
My coaching philosophy is all about building relationship. People with learning disabilities grow best through relationships. That is why coaching is so successful with us. To have someone totally focused on our success and engaging us in our potential is a game changer. I will be that person for you. I will walk – RUN – with you to the finish line. I will help you to be accountable to yourself and to be 100% focus on achieving your hopes and dreams for your future.
Special Education Advocacy
When it comes to the education of students with disabilities, it can be a complicated maze for even the experts, i.e. teachers and administrators much less for parents who haven’t had the benefit of formal training.
I am not a lawyer, but I do have over 15 years of education and experience as a special education teacher and administrator. I think special education works best when parents, students and educators work together for the academic success of their students. If you need help navigating the maze that is special education contact me. Knowledge is power!
